Join Matt and Debbie for a rejuvenating yoga experience on the shores of Bocas del Toro, where mindfulness, movement, and vacation vibes foster deeper connection to the community.

Located in one of Central America's largest and most bio diverse rain forests. Features a 65 foot lap pool, secluded beach, and nature reserve where you will see wild sloths, monkeys, toucans, horses and more. We will have exclusive use of the entire private property, which includes 3 beach houses, all with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens for your use. Please see below for rooming options and descriptions.

  • All bedrooms feature high powered ceiling fans, and screened in windows with plenty of ventilation and air flow.

    Your bedroom will be in a casita with 2 - 3 other bedrooms. All bedrooms share a common kitchen, living area, and outdoor seating area.

Double Occupancy with Private Bath

This double occupancy bedroom comes with a private bathroom, and sleeps two people comfortably in either one king size bed OR two twin beds - perfect for both couples and friends!

  • All bedrooms feature high powered ceiling fans, and screened in windows with plenty of ventilation and air flow.

    Your bedroom will be in a casita with 2 - 3 other bedrooms. All bedrooms share a common kitchen, living area, and outdoor seating area.

    These rooms can be set up with two twin beds, or one queen bed. Please let us know your bed set up preference upon booking & your roommate's name.

    If you sign up for this room type without an indicted roommate, we will do our best to pair you up with one. If we are unable to, you will be charged for a single occupancy room when final trip balances are due.

Single Occupancy with Shared Bath

This single occupancy bedroom sleeps one person comfortably in a queen size bed, and SHARES a bathroom with one other bedroom that is part of the two bedroom casita you will be  staying in.

  • All bedrooms feature high powered ceiling fans, and screened in windows with plenty of ventilation and air flow.

    This casita also features a small kitchen, living room and porch, which will be shared with your casita-mate.

Single Occupancy with Private Bath

This single occupancy bedroom comes with a private bathroom, and sleeps one person comfortably in a queen size bed.

  • All bedrooms feature high powered ceiling fans, and screened in windows with plenty of ventilation and air flow.

    Your bedroom will be in a casita with 2 - 3 other bedrooms. All bedrooms share a common kitchen, living area, and outdoor seating area.

A $500 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit is required to hold your spot on the retreat.

  1. We’re on the north side of the island with the open Caribbean Sea which brings in cool air during the night hours.

  2. The property is located in front of a hill which sends cool air down at night as well.

  3. All the houses have large screened louvered windows and doors which allow air to flow freely.

  4. High power fans to help circulate the flow.

  5. Finally, each house has a chimney which further helps circulate as well as remove warm air.

No need for air conditioning!

All yoga classes and workshops are optional. The actual itinerary for the week will be available 30-60 days before the retreat. Friends and family are welcome. No yoga experience is necessary!

  • Roundtrip airport transfers from Bocas del Toro "Isla Colón" International Airport (BOC) to Bluff Beach Retreat center

  • All taxes + base gratuities

What’s Not Included

  • Flights from the United States to Bocas del Toro (BOC). This involves an international flight from your airport of origin to Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama (PTY); as well as, a domestic flight on Air Panama or similar domestic carrier between Albrook Airport in Panama City (PAC) and Bocas del Toro Airport (BOC). 

  • Taxi ride between PTY and PAC airports. 

  • Optional Excursions and additional massages, all available for booking upon arrival at our retreat center

  • Alcoholic Beverages

Downtime Activites

  • Surfing Lessons at BiBi’s

    Take morning or afternoon surfing lessons at Isla Carenero, with smoother waters in the morning as the wind increases throughout the afternoon.

  • Horseback Riding

    Enjoy a three-hour guided horseback tour to La Piscina at Bluff Beach Retreat’s farm, accommodating up to seven guests.

  • Island Snorkeling Trip

    Discover Dolphin Bay, Bastimentos National Park, and Zapatilla Islands on a snorkeling adventure with Captain Luis, including a picnic lunch with notice.

  • Boating to Bird Island

    Visit Bird Island with Captain Luis to observe rare birds, with optional stops at Starfish Beach or Playa Boca del Drago.

  • Bioluminescence Tour

    Explore glowing plankton on this evening tour, including a swim among the glowing lights.

  • Nature Walk with Corinna

    Take a three-hour, three-mile jungle walk with a biologist to see wildlife and a waterfall, requiring good footwear, with a minimum of two people.

Important Information

You must have a valid passport to travel to Panama. 

Please check your passport expiration date and make sure it is valid for at least 3 months after the end date of your retreat.

We are not visiting any areas where malaria or yellow fever are of concern.

Passport & Optional Vaccination Info

All retreats include a $500 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit, which is required to hold your spot on the trip. 

Additional balance payments made are refundable up to 120 days prior to the retreat start date. I (Matt) must receive an email at marmyoga@gmail.com requesting cancellation prior to 9:00PM on this date in order to secure a refund of additional balances paid. The initial $500 deposit remains non-refundable and non-transferable. All balances paid are non-refundable and non-transferable within 120 days of the retreat start date. 

We can only make an exception to these terms if:

  1. The host government forbids us to visit as tourists.

  2. The US government forbids us to travel to the host country as tourists.

If we must further postpone or cancel the trip, all registrants will receive a refund of all deposits.

If you refuse to comply with the entry laws of the host country, region, town, etc; we will not consider this a valid reason for receiving any refund. We will ensure to the best of our abilities that all registrants comply with all then current laws and regulations.
