THAI YOGA
Supportive hands-on bodywork for stretching, release, and deep rest.
Thai Yoga Bodywork is a floor-based bodywork practice that combines assisted stretching, gentle compression, mindful movement, and breath.
Unlike a traditional yoga class, you are not moving through the practice on your own. You remain fully clothed and supported while I guide your body through stretches, pressure, and movement patterns designed to help you slow down, soften tension, and reconnect with your body.
What Is Thai Yoga?
Thai Yoga Bodywork is often described as assisted yoga, but it is less about “doing yoga” and more about receiving support.
Sessions may include gentle rocking, assisted stretches, compression, joint movement, breath awareness, and moments of stillness. The pace is slow and intentional, with space to adjust based on what feels useful and appropriate for your body.
The goal is not to force flexibility or push your body into deeper positions. The goal is to create a supportive experience where your body can feel more open, settled, and at ease.
Thai Yoga Bodywork Can Support
People who want a slower, more restorative bodywork experience
Students who want support with mobility, flexibility, or recovery
Anyone who carries tension from stress, training, work, or daily life
People who have a hard time slowing down on their own
Yoga students who want to experience familiar shapes in a more supported way
Anyone interested in bodywork that feels grounded, mindful, and personalized
What to Expect
Thai Yoga Bodywork is practiced fully clothed on a mat or padded surface. Comfortable clothing that allows you to move is recommended.
Before we begin, we’ll talk through your goals, preferences, and anything important for me to know. During the session, communication stays simple and clear so the work can remain comfortable, supportive, and appropriate for your body.
You do not need any yoga experience to receive Thai Yoga Bodywork.
What a Session May Include
Each session is shaped around your body, your comfort level, and what you’re looking for that day.
A Thai Yoga Bodywork session may include:
Assisted stretching
Gentle compression
Rocking and rhythmic movement
Joint mobility
Breath awareness
Supported positions
Slower holds
Time for rest and integration
Sessions can feel active in some moments and deeply restful in others. We’ll begin with a conversation so I understand what you’re looking for and any areas you want to focus on or avoid.
Who This Is For
Thai Yoga Bodywork may be a good fit if you want hands-on support, assisted stretching, or a quieter bodywork experience that helps you slow down.
It can also be a helpful complement to yoga, strength training, athletic recovery, or a busy lifestyle.
You do not need to be flexible. You do not need to know what to do. You simply need a willingness to receive support and communicate what feels right for your body.
How to Start
Start with a simple inquiry. Share a little about what you’re looking for, whether you’ve received bodywork before, and any questions you have.
